Tony Pulis hopeful of Saido Berahino stay unless "unbelievable" bid offered

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis says that only an "unbelievable" offer will tempt the club to sell Stoke City target Saido Berahino.

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has claimed that Saido Berahino will be "going nowhere" unless an "unbelievable" offer is tabled and a replacement is lined up.

The England Under-21 forward has been pursued by Stoke City, who reportedly had a £20m bid rejected last month.

Berahino has been in the transfer gossip pages in the last two summer windows, and even criticised West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace on Twitter after he blocked the striker's move to Tottenham Hotspur last year, but the Baggies have continued to dig their heels in.

When asked about the 23-year-old's future in this morning's press conference, Pulis told reporters: "Saido has got 10 days to go and then we'll start talking about football again, fingers crossed. Nobody is more keen than myself for Saido to stay. I think he played really well with Salomon [Rondon] last week.

"As far as I'm concerned and the board is concerned - Jeremy and the Chinese [owners] - unless someone comes in with an unbelievable offer and we have a replacement, Saido will be going nowhere."

Berahino scored just four goals last season.
