West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has hinted that he could sell in-form Saido Berahino this month - but only if a "stupid offer" is lodged.
The £25m-rated striker has reportedly courted interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool as his future at The Hawthorns appears to be uncertain.
On Saturday, the 21-year-old refused to rule out a move away, but Pulis is optimistic that he can retain the hitman's services and recruit another striker to compliment him.
"I'm not going to say we are not going to sell him because if a stupid offer comes in I'd look stupid," the newly-appointed Baggies coach told The Mirror.
"But we are desperate to get in another striker to go with him. If we get one and we keep him, it will make my day."
The England Under-21 international has 14 goals in all competitions this season - including six in the 10 days since Pulis's arrival in the West Midlands.
