James Collins has revealed that rejoining West Ham United was an easy decision to make.
The Welsh defender left Upton Park for Aston Villa in 2009 following a four-year stint with the club.
However, having learned that the Hammers were keen to secure his services for a second time, the 28-year-old has admitted that he had no hesitation about signing a four-year contract.
"I had a great affinity with the club and the fans when I was here the first time and enjoyed my time here so much last time that it wasn't a hard decision to make, to be honest," he told the club's official website.
Collins made 54 appearances during his first spell with West Ham.
