Jussi Jaaskelainen has agreed to sign for West Ham United, according to Sky Sports News.

Jussi Jaaskelainen has reportedly agreed to sign for West Ham United.

The Finnish goalkeeper turned down a new contract with relegated Bolton Wanderers to remain in the Premier League, and now looks set to be reunited with former Trotters boss Sam Allardyce.

The 37-year-old has now finalised a deal with the Hammers and will sign a two-year-deal with the Londoners, according to Sky Sports News

The transfer is expected to go through on July 1 when the transfer window officially opens.

Jaaskelainen has played over 500 times for Bolton, having signed for the club back in 1997.

West Ham are looking to strengthen their goalkeeping options, with current number one Rob Green looking increasingly likely to leave Upton Park this summer.
