Preview: Wigan Athletic vs. AFC Bournemouth

Bournemouth travel to Wigan Athletic hoping to cause an upset in the FA Cup third round.

League One promotion hopefuls AFC Bournemouth makes the long trip to Wigan Athletic with an outside chance of securing a Premier League scalp.

Wigan have lost four of their last five Premier League games, most recently a demoralising 4-0 home thumping by Manchester United.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, were halted on a run of five straight defeats by Brentford, who held them to a 0-0 draw on New Year's Day.

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez might look to keep a strong lineup to look to give his side a much-needed win, with only a couple of changes likely. A few first-teamers, such as Ben Watson and Altolin Alcaraz, remain out.
