Wigan Athletic's Victor Moses has insisted that his side has what it takes to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The Nigerian forward said that last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Fulham was merely a "blip", and backed his teammates to rediscover their winning form during the season run-in.
"Fulham was just a blip," Moses told the Wigan Observer.
"If we can regain the momentum we had from the wins against Manchester United and Arsenal, we can get the right result against Newcastle.
"The way we've been playing – solid at the back and dangerous going forward – I can't see us losing many games if we can get back to those heights. We'll be getting together this week for one final push, and it's about regaining our intensity in training and taking it into match day."
Roberto Martinez's side have recorded impressive wins over Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks, lifting themselves out of the drop zone.
Wigan go into Saturday's home fixture against Newcastle United with a one-point lead over 18th-placed Bolton Wanderers.
