Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo says that he is looking forward to Wolverhampton Wanderers' trip to Leicester City after his team showed "character" against Everton.

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed that he has been left pleased with how his Wolverhampton Wanderers side handled their Premier League opener with Everton.

The newly-promoted side twice came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw with the Toffees, despite the Merseyside outfit playing with 10 men for over half of the game at Molineux.

Nuno has admitted that there were "positives and negatives" to take from last weekend's fixture, but the Portuguese has been left pleased ahead of the club's meeting with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

At a press conference, Nuno told reporters: "There were a lot of positives and negatives too. We analyse it then try to put it better in the week. The boys showed character, chasing the game from behind but we did not start well. I am happy and looking forward to Saturday.

"The team realise that we have a tough challenge in front of us. Ruben Neves is one player in the team, but everybody handled the situation well after the first game. The past is the past, we only think about Leicester."

Wolves sit in 10th place in the standings after the opening round of fixtures in the top flight.
