Nuno Espirito Santo 'wants four signings before window shuts'

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo is reportedly expecting four signings to arrive at the Molineux Stadium before the transfer window shuts.

Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo reportedly hopes to secure four new signings before the transfer window closes.

Despite making loan deals for Leander Dendoncker and Raul Jimenez permanent, Wolves are yet to make any new additions to their squad this summer.

The departures of Helder Costa and Ivan Cavaleiro have put pressure on the Wolves hierarchy to bolster Nuno's options going into a 2019-20 campaign during which they will play in Europe.

According to Birmingham Mail, Nuno is hoping for as many as four fresh faces to arrive at Molineux before the English transfer window closes on August 8.

Wolves begin their Europa League qualification campaign on July 25 against Northern Irish club Crusaders, and will be guaranteed to play 12 games in Europe should they reach the group stages.

Reports have suggested that Wolves are in a race with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Angel Correa.
