Preview: Yeovil Town vs. Huddersfield Town

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship fixture between Yeovil Town and Huddersfield Town.

Time is running out for Yeovil Town as far as their Championship status is concerned.

Ordinarily, Saturday's 0-0 draw away at Blackburn Rovers would have been viewed as a respectable result, but it has left Gary Johnson's men bottom of the table and five points from safety with just three matches left to play.

Indeed, if they were to lose against Huddersfield Town next time out and other results went against them, the Glovers would be returned to League One at the first time of asking.

Speaking about that clash with the Terriers at Huish Park, Johnson said: "Depending on how other results go it may not even need three wins, it will definitely need two so therefore our game against Huddersfield is the biggest game in Yeovil's history."

It is expected that Johnson will stick with the majority of the side that started against Blackburn, although striker Sam Hoskins is pushing for inclusion.

As for visiting Huddersfield, while they are not mathematically safe, it would take a number of results between now and the end of the season to go against them if they were to be relegated.

Manager Mark Robins may recall former England youth international Oscar Gobern, who has made 25 appearances so far this term.

Hosts Yeovil have lost 10 of their 18 meetings with Huddersfield, with their last victory coming back in January 2009.
