Munster have registered a comfortable 26-10 victory over Gloucester Rugby in the Heineken Cup.
Rob Penney's side dominated both halves at Thomond Park to pick up the points in their Pool 6 clash on Saturday.
The two-time champions surged ahead through three penalties from Ian Keatley and although Charlie Sharples's converted try reduced the deficit for Gloucester, the visitors found the home side too strong to contend with.
Jonny Bentley scored from a penalty to ensure that Munster went into the half-time interval 16-10 ahead, and picked up 10 unanswered points in the second period.
Keatley added his fourth penalty of the match in the second half and Johne Murphy scored a late try to earn Munster their first win of the Heineken Cup campaign.
