Sale Sharks star Danny Cipriani has admitted that things are going "a lot better" for him following a tumultuous time last season.
The 26-year-old, who joined the Aviva Premiership club in 2012 from the Melbourne Rebels, has received a number of plaudits of late, with some calling for England head coach Stuart Lancaster to recall the player.
"I think things are going a lot better, both personally and with the team," Cipriani told the Manchester Evening News.
"We obviously weren't happy with how [last season] went and I think this year we had the chance to prepare smarter. I learnt a lot in terms of how to prepare myself and what I need to do to become the best that I can be and be back to where I was."
Ciprinai moved to Sale following a number of off-field issues during his time in Australia.
