Andy Murray expects to be able to deal with the home support that will be backing Gael Monfils in their French Open quarter-final on Wednesday afternoon.
The Wimbledon champion faces Paris-born Monfils on the main Philippe Chatrier Stadium at around 3pm, for a place in the last four at Roland Garros.
Murray anticipates 23rd-seed Monfils to energise the French faithful into lending him their vocal encouragement, but Murray has stressed that he will relish the atmosphere regardless of how partisan it is.
"I hope now I'll be able to deal with the atmosphere," Murray told BBC Sport. "Playing against someone with his style, and he also tries to entertains the crowd - the crowd will be right into the match - is something extra I'll have to deal with.
"But I'm looking forward to it. I don't mind. I'll play on whichever court they decide. The atmosphere will be great whichever court it's on."
Monfils knocked Murray out in the opening round of the Scot's first French Open campaign in 2006.
