Gerardo Martino has snubbed Gonzalo Higuain and replaced him with Juventus youngster Paulo Dybala for Argentina's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.
The Napoli forward is currently in fine form for his club, scoring four goals in as many games, while netting a brace in their 5-0 thrashing of Lazio on Monday evening.
However, Martino has overlooked the 27-year-old in favour of Juve's young starlet Dybala, who has scored twice since making his move from Palermo, according to Goal.com.
Paris Saint-Germain pair Angel di Maria and Javier Pastore both missed friendlies alongside Higuain earlier this month against Bolivia and Mexico, but both are in the 28-strong squad.
