Arsene Wenger says that there is room for improvement at Arsenal as they prepare to face Marseilles in the Champions League.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hailed his team's 5-3 victory over Chelsea on Saturday, but says that they must improve if they are to beat Marseille in the Champions League tonight.

"In the players' heads, there was uncertainty about whether they could win a big game," Wenger said. "We celebrated and there was a need for us to communicate with our fans again and that was a good chance.

"But we have won nothing. We must just use it as a springboard to go further towards our target. The players know that.

"There is still some room for improvement defensively. In the first half against Chelsea we were too vulnerable. They missed some chances, so we can still improve."

Arsenal currently lead Champions League Group F with seven points from three games.
