Emile Smith Rowe reportedly did not report for Arsenal training on Tuesday ahead of the Gunners' Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 21-year-old returned to the starting lineup against Brentford in place of the suspended Gabriel Martinelli and bagged his ninth top-flight goal of the season in a 2-1 win.
Martinelli is set to return from his ban for the visit of Wolves on Thursday, and Arteta did not report any fresh concerns at his pre-game press conference.
However, journalist Connor Humm reports that Smith Rowe was not involved in Arsenal's Tuesday training session, with the reason yet to be explained.
Humm adds that Smith Rowe is not known to be carrying an injury of any sort, and there is still no reason to indicate that he will not be available for Thursday's game.
The Hale End graduate has banked 10 goals in all competitions for Arsenal this term and could match a feat set by Nicolas Anelka should he play and score against Wolves.
