Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted that Alexandre Lacazette could miss the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign with a hamstring problem.
The 29-year-old, who has scored 17 times in 39 appearances for the Gunners this season, had to be replaced in the second half of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta has revealed that the Frenchman will undergo a scan on Tuesday to determine the extent of the damage, but the striker could potentially be out for the next "five or six weeks".
"We will have to see - he felt his hamstring so we don't know," Arteta told reporters. "We will have the scans on Tuesday and see the extent of the injury. I don't know.
"I cannot tell you if it is going to be a week or five or six weeks. We are all disappointed because we know Laca was on form."
Lacazette, who has scored 13 Premier League goals this season, only has a contract with the Gunners until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
