Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has said that his side are relishing their fixtures against Manchester City and Manchester United after the club's upturn in form.
The Gunners defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 at the Emirates on Sunday to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches in all competitions after their harrowing 4-0 defeat away to Liverpool in August.
In that time, Arsenal have earned a point away at champions Chelsea and have kept four successive Premier League clean sheets with Cech between the posts.
"We still have to play City and United, so there will be opportunities to get closer to them," Cech told reporters. "But we have responded well to the disappointing defeat at Liverpool.
"Everybody has been doing their job and the positive results have given us the confidence we need.
"We are playing better as a team. We're covering for our mistakes with hard work and the cohesion and the defensive attitude is there. This is the way to go forward."
Arsenal travel to City on November 5 before hosting United on December 2.
