Alexis Sanchez enjoying life with Arsenal

Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez admits that he is loving life at the club following his impressive debut campaign with Arsene Wenger's men.

Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez has revealed that he is greatly enjoying life at the club in his first season.

The 26-year-old has been in impressive form for the Gunners since his £30m move from Barcelona last summer as he has netted 19 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions.

Sanchez is adamant that he has to keep learning about life in the English game to ensure his performances remain at the highest quality to guide Arsenal into the Champions League once again next season.

"My spell here [has been] a really positive one," he told the club's official website. "I like the city a lot and I feel really comfortable at the club.

"Supporters here are very cheerful and enlivening, which is a very nice thing. My teammates are really kind, too. My goal now is to take Arsenal as high as possible.

"I'm well adapted to the country and the league - I must keep on learning, though. I want to expand my knowledge of English football in general and Arsenal and my team-mates in particular, but overall I love this league. At the end of the day, football was invented in this country, right? I live where football was invented. That makes me really happy."

Sanchez is expected to be in action later today when his side face West Ham United.
