Unai Emery reportedly received support from Arsenal players after the club announced that he had been sacked from his post at the Emirates.
The Spaniard was dismissed by the North London club late last month following a winless run that stretched to seven games.
Reports claim that interim coach Freddie Ljungberg, Mikel Arteta and Patrick Vieira are favourites to replace him in the long term.
According to The Athletic, Emery was visited in his office by all members of the first-team squad after he was dismissed soon after a defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Among those who spoke with Emery was Mesut Ozil, who was frozen out for large parts of the manager's time at the club.
Laurent Koscielny, despite the contentious manner in which he left over the summer, is said to have also got in touch with Emery.
