The owners of Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly intend to fight as hard as possible to keep Nuno Esprito Santo at Molineux, amid alleged interest from Arsenal.

The owners of Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly prepared to fight as hard as possible to keep Nuno Espirito Santo at Molineux.

Nuno has helped transformed Wolves from a Championship club into a team who are competing in Europe, while they also currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League standings.

However, the Portuguese's success has allegedly led to interest from Arsenal, who parted ways with Unai Emery earlier this week.

According to the Daily Mail, Fosun International will do all that they can to convince Nuno that he should continue his managerial career at Molineux.

While the 45-year-old currently has just over 18 months remaining on his contract, Fosun would likely be happy to extend that should Nuno wish to remain at the West Midlands outfit.

The report suggests that the club are also fearful of the consequences of Nuno's departure, with his coaching staff almost certain to follow him to the Emirates Stadium.

As well as Nuno, super-agent Jorge Mendes also represents several of Wolves' star men, including Joao Moutinho, who only penned a new contract seven days ago.
