Team News: Alexis Sanchez on Arsenal bench for North London derby

Arsenal make nine changes for the North London derby at the Emirates Stadium, while Tottenham Hotspur hand a first league start to youngster Ryan Mason.

Arsene Wenger has left Alexis Sanchez on the Arsenal bench for this evening's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

Wenger has made nine changes in total from the side that lost 2-1 to Southampton in the League Cup in midweek, with only Calum Chambers and Jack Wilshere retaining their places in the starting XI.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino has made eight changes after their 3-1 triumph over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, but he has handed a first league start to Ryan Mason, who scored in the midweek win.

Kyle Naughton and Jan Vertonghen are the only other survivors from the victory.
