Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has reportedly agreed personal terms over a permanent move to Fiorentina.
The Uruguay international became a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium in the 2018-19 season under Unai Emery, but fell out of favour when Mikel Arteta arrived in the North London dugout.
Torreria endured an underwhelming loan spell with Atletico Madrid but has reignited his career with Fiorentina, scoring five goals and providing one assist in 27 Serie A appearances.
The 26-year-old is widely expected to join La Viola permanently from Arsenal ahead of the 2022-23 season, and Football Insider now claims that personal terms over the switch have been agreed.
The report adds that Torreira is set to sign a four-year deal with Fiorentina once the club trigger his buy option, which is believed to be in the region of €15m (£12.5m).
Torreira is therefore set to leave Arsenal having amassed four goals and six assists in 89 appearances since 2018, winning the FA Cup and Community Shield in North London.
