Atletico Madrid skipper Gabi has revealed that he is desperate to win a trophy with the Spanish club in 2014.
The capital outfit currently sit level on points with Barcelona at the top of La Liga, while they have advanced into the latter stages of the Champions League and Copa del Rey.
"On a sporting level, my only wish is to win a trophy with Atletico Madrid. That's what we all dream about and what makes us fight to reach our objectives in the short-term and long term," he told Mahou.
"We hope we can maintain the union which characterizes us – the team, coaching staff and fans; that's what will drive us forward and bring us success. I also wish for good health – that's the most important thing for all of us."
Gabi won the Copa del Rey last season after beating rivals Real Madrid in the final.
