West Ham United could supposedly look to make a late move for ex-Atletico Madrid and Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
Following Sebastien Haller's departure to Ajax earlier in the window, David Moyes's options up top are currently restricted to Michail Antonio.
The Hammers' pursuit of a new frontman in the January window is well-documented, but reported interest in Reims' Boulaye Dia and Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah has failed to bear fruit.
However, Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri claims that Costa is now an attractive option for West Ham, and the capital club are interested in signing him for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign.
The 32-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract with Atletico was terminated last month, meaning that West Ham would not necessarily need to sign him by tonight's 11pm transfer deadline.
Costa struck two times in seven La Liga appearances for Diego Simeone's side this term before his departure, and during his time at Chelsea, the striker bagged 58 goals in 120 appearances while winning two Premier League titles.
