Andres Iniesta hoping for instant Luis Suarez impact

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta admits that his side face a "difficult" task when they travel to face Real Madrid at the Bernabeu this weekend.

Andres Iniesta is hopeful that Lionel Messi and the returning Luis Suarez can inspire Barcelona to victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

The Catalan giants can call on Suarez for the first time in this weekend's El Clasico showdown following the conclusion of the former Liverpool striker's four-month ban, which was handed to him after he bit Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Messi is edging towards becoming La Liga's all-time record goalscorer, needing to find the net once more to match the 251 goals Telmo Zarra scored for Athletic Bilbao.

"I hope Messi scores two because it would be a great sign for us," FIFA.com quotes Iniesta as saying. "It is difficult to know what you will come up against because the details make the difference.

"It can swing to one side or the other in any moment, but we want to make the most of our strengths, be effective and try to play very well to win the game. It is never easy to win at the Bernabeu.

"Fortunately the time has come and the moment has arrived when Luis can play. He is very happy and it is important for the rest of the group too. We hope that he performs just as well as he has always done."

Barcelona currently lead the way at the top of the table, holding a four-point advantage over Madrid heading into the game.
