Sergino Dest has been ruled out of Barcelona's upcoming Champions League group game with Bayern Munich as he still has not recovered from his ankle injury, according to a report.
The full-back picked up the injury during the recent international break, spraining his ankle while away with the USA, and the problem was confirmed upon his return to Spain.
Because of that, Marca reports that he will be unavailable for Barcelona's upcoming game against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, as he has been unable to train with the Spanish outfit.
Dest's return to practice was pushed back as he is still suffering from the issue, meaning Ronald Koeman will be forced into a different plan, with Sergi Roberto the likely candidate to take his place.
The injury adds to the problems that the club have suffered so far this season as Ansu Fati, Sergio Aguero, Ousmane Dembele and Martin Braithwaite are all currently out with various injuries.
Both Roberto and Gerard Pique managed a full training session this morning, which should see both of them available as they prepare to face the German outfit.
