Preview: Barcelona vs. Real Sociedad

Sports Mole looks ahead to midweek action in La Liga as Barcelona take on Real Sociedad.

Barcelona will go in search of a sixth successive victory in La Liga on Tuesday when they host Champions League contenders Real Sociedad at Camp Nou.

Gerardo Martino's side recorded a 4-0 win at Rayo Vallecano to maintain their 100% start to the campaign at the weekend, despite coming out second best on the possession stats in a league game for the first time in five years.

Pedro scored a hat-trick in that rout and looks likely to keep his place in attack, despite Alexis Sanchez hoping for a recall in attack.

Andres Iniesta was rested against Rayo and could return in midfield, while Daniel Alves is also expected to take his place at full-back ahead of Martin Montoya.

Socided drew 0-0 with Malaga in their last league game, making it four matches without a win in La Liga.

Haris Seferovic and Antoine Griezmann were both named on the bench for Saturday's goalless draw, but are in line for a return against the defending champions.
