Lee Seung-woo hints at Barcelona departure

Barcelona attacker Lee Seung-woo suggests that he could leave Camp Nou this summer in search of first-team football.

Barcelona attacker Lee Seung-woo has suggested that he could leave Camp Nou this summer if the Spanish giants do not guarantee him a chance of first-team football next term.

Lee made his debut for Barcelona B during the 2015-16 campaign, but he represented their Juvenil A team last season.

It is understood that the teenager has become frustrated with a lack of opportunities at Camp Nou, and his agent Pere Guardiola claimed last week that a move to Borussia Dortmund could occur in this summer's transfer window.

Lee, who joined Barcelona from South Korean side Incheon United in 2011, has said that he will make a final decision on his future after holding talks with his current club.

"After meeting with the team and listening to other people's advice, I will make the best decision possible. If I do not play for Barcelona then I will choose a team that offers me the best options," Lee told Marca.

"I have to prepare for a new season at a crucial time [of my career]. I would like to continue my development to improve as a footballer. If I play well for another club then I might just go back to Barcelona later. That's football, and moving to another team would not mean failure."

It is understood that Lee has a £2.5m buy-out in his current deal at Barcelona.
