Birmingham City and Southampton failed to break the deadlock in snowy conditions at St Andrew's this evening.
Both sides struggled to adapt to the wintry conditions during the opening 45 minutes, with goalscoring chances hard to come by.
However, after the break hosting Birmingham made better use of the snow as they began to carve out opportunities.
The best of those fell to Marlon King and Guirane N'Daw, but on both occasions Kelvin Davies in the Southampton goal was on hand to turn the ball wide.
The visiting Saints were made to play the remaining eight minutes with ten men following Daniel Fox's dismissal for a second foul on Blues winger Chris Burke.
Birmingham continued to push for a winning goal but were unable to find a way past Davies.
