David Lopez scored a penalty in the 95th minute to earn Brighton & Hove Albion a point at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship this evening.
Early on Blackburn were the dominant force and Jason Lowe forced Tomasz Kuszczak into a sprawling save before they took the lead just before the interval.
Adam El-Abd was adjudged to have tugged Morten-Gamst Pedersen's shirt in the area and Jordan Rhodes made no mistake from 12 yards.
The second half was a tight affair and it finished with Blackburn pushing for a second but they were kept out by Kuszczak.
Michael Appleton was on the verge of his first win since taking over at Blackburn but then David Goodwillie brought down Lopez in the box and the Spaniard stepped up to equalise.
