Blackpool boss Lee Clark missed dramatic equaliser because of fan argument

Blackpool boss Lee Clark reveals that he did not see David Ferguson's dramatic equaliser in their 4-4 draw against Nottingham Forest because of a row with a fan.

Blackpool boss Lee Clark has revealed that he missed his side's dramatic late equaliser against Nottingham Forest because he was arguing with a vociferous supporter.

David Ferguson scored deep into stoppage time to earn the Tangerines a 4-4 draw in an exhilarating match at Bloomfield Road, which saw Clark's men spurn two winning positions against Dougie Freedman's side.

"The lads dug deep and I didn't actually see the equaliser because I was getting a bit of grief from one of our own fans for not being attacking enough with eight players," Clark told Sky Sports News.

"I was busy having a conversation with him. Thankfully David popped up with the equaliser. I'm drained and I wasn't even involved. I've never experienced anything like that in my life."

Blackpool remain bottom of the Championship table, 10 points adrift of safety.
