Blackburn Rovers have sent midfielder Alan Judge out on loan to League One leaders Brentford until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old only moved to Ewood Park from Notts County in the summer but has found first-team opportunities limited under Gary Bowyer.
"It isn't about the money for him, he loves playing football, but at the moment with what we have got he hasn't been able to force his way in," Bowyer told the Blackburn website.
He moves to Griffin Park to join a Brentford side who have won seven league games in a row to claim top spot in the third tier.
Brentford manager Mark Warburton told the Bees' website: "Alan offers us options, both wide and centrally, and I am sure he will add real value to the first team squad in the weeks ahead."
Irishman Judge could make his debut on Saturday against Port Vale.
