Chris Powell: 'We could lose Dale Stephens, Yann Kermorgant'

Chris Powell admits that Charlton Athletic lose both Dale Stephens and Yann Kermorgant.

Charlton Athletic manager Chris Powell has admitted that the club could lose both Dale Stephens and Yann Kermorgant before the transfer window closes.

Stephens is close to sealing a move to Brighton & Hove Albion, while Bournemouth are believed to have agreed a fee with Charlton for Kermorgant.

"It looks likely that Dale will complete his move to Brighton," Powell told reporters on Thursday. "The fee has been agreed and I am led to believe that personal terms are done. It may be subject to a medical but it looks likely to happen.

"There has been an enquiry with regards to Yann, but Yann is in today so it's not like it's imminent. I don't know how far down the line it is.

"Obviously they have been two very good players for me and I'd prefer them to be here but there are decisions to be made."

Charlton have been able to add to their squad in the transfer window, with Loic Nego arriving at the club on Wednesday.
