Diego Simeone: "It was a tough game"

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone admits that his side faced a "tough game" against Chelsea in their first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Diego Simeone has said that Atletico Madrid's Champions League clash with Chelsea this evening was a "tough game".

The first leg of the semi-final between the two clubs finished in a goalless draw at Vicente Calderon.

The manager told reporters: "It was a tough game where no one could take an advantage. We could not find the goal that would have won the match.

"It was an intense game with both sides fighting to get through to the final. They have the advantage with this draw but whoever gets the victory will go to the final."

The second leg takes place at Stamford Bridge next Wednesday.
