Chelsea trio N'Golo Kante, Mason Mount and Thiago Silva are back in first-team training ahead of Wednesday night's quarter-final clash with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

Chelsea have received a triple injury boost ahead of their quarter-final meeting with Real Madrid in the Champions League, with N'Golo Kante, Mason Mount and Thiago Silva all taking part in training on Monday.

The Blues travel to the Bernabeu on Wednesday night knowing the Champions League is their only chance of silverware in what has been a challenging campaign for the London club.

Frank Lampard's men sit 11th in the Premier League standings, 17 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with just eight matches left to play after an away defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

Mount and Kante did not feature in the matchday squad for the loss at Molineux but have returned to first-team training at Cobham alongside defender Silva ahead of the trip to Spain.

French international Kante made his first appearances for the Blues since August in home matches against Aston Villa and Liverpool at the start of this month, with Mount having not featured since the 2-0 loss at Tottenham Hotspur in February.

Centre-back Silva was also pictured in training alongside his Chelsea teammates - the 38-year-old has sat out of the last seven matches due to a knee ligament injury but could be fit to face Los Blancos in the second leg next week.
