Chelsea's Jose Mourinho hails Eden Hazard

Jose Mourinho believes that Eden Hazard's performance against Sunderland on Wednesday was his best for Chelsea so far this season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has described Eden Hazard's performance against Sunderland on Wednesday as his "best" so far this season.

The Belgian winger set up Frank Lampard for the Blues' first goal and himself scored twice in a 4-3 victory at the Stadium of the Light.

"The best, with me, the best," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying. "Maybe last season, he did something similar or even better, but with me, the best.

"The talent, we know, but the ambition from the first to the last minutes for me, it was the first time because he has a great talent, but sometimes he does incredible things and after that, he disappears from the game.

"Today, he was fantastic from the first minute, getting the ball, taking on defenders, shooting. Sometimes he creates a lot, but doesn't shoot; today the performance was fantastic."

Chelsea are currently four points behind leaders Arsenal in second place in the Premier League.
