Chelsea will reportedly have to fend off interest from Juventus to secure the signature of Monaco starlet Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Blues and Manchester United failed to prise the France international away from the Stade Louis II this summer, but another scramble for his signature is expected to commence in 2022.
Tchouameni only arrived at Monaco from Bordeaux in January 2020 but has since become a mainstay of Niko Kovac's setup, claiming three goals and four assists from 42 appearances in all tournaments last term.
While Chelsea are expected to reignite their interest in Tchouameni at the end of the current campaign, Calciomercato claims that Juventus are planning to hijack the Blues' attempts to sign the midfielder.
The youngster could supposedly be tempted by the prospect of Champions League football abroad, with Monaco dropping down to the 2021-22 Europa League after suffering defeat in the playoff stage of Europe's elite tournament to Shakhtar Donetsk.
Tchouameni's current deal with Les Monegasques is set to expire at the end of the 2023-24 season.
