Roma are reportedly in the running to sign Jeremie Boga from Sassuolo when the transfer window opens.
The 23-year-old has attracted rumoured interest from the likes of Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur after scoring eight times and contributing four assists in 24 Serie A appearances this term.
According to Goal, Sassuolo's domestic rivals Roma have also made their interest clear and have been in contact with the Ivory Coast international's representatives.
However, any deal could be complicated by the £13m buyback clause Chelsea had inserted in Boga's contract when he joined Sassuolo two years ago.
Speaking last week, Boga admitted that he is not ruling out a return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
