Stoke City have expressed an interest in re-signing Asmir Begovic from Chelsea, according to reports.
The Bosnia international has been unable to dislodge Thibaut Courtois as the Blues' first-choice goalkeeper since moving to Stamford Bridge for £8m in 2015.
Stoke, meanwhile, have signed Derby County stopper Lee Grant on loan, but have reportedly been put off by the Rams' £4m asking fee to make the switch permanent.
According to The Mirror, the Potters will try to secure the services of Begovic in January and give him first-team action in a move that would benefit both parties.
Jack Butland, Stoke's first-choice keeper, has not featured for the Potters since suffering a fractured ankle during England's 3-2 friendly win over Germany in March.
