Kit Symons: 'I'd be having words with any clear-cut divers at Fulham'

Fulham coach Kit Symons says that he would have strong words with any of his players if they were found guilty of diving, following a number of high-profile incidents.

Fulham coach Kit Symons has revealed that he would have strong words to say to his players if they were found guilty of diving.

Simulation in the game has come back into sharp focus recently following Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Hull City, in which both Willian and Diego Costa were booked while Gary Cahill arguably escaped a second yellow card for going down rather easily inside the box.

"I'm not a big fan of that sort of behaviour and if it was a clear-cut dive then I'd be having words," said Symons, according to the Daily Star.

"The three main things that we focus on are trust, honesty and belief. Obviously that would come under the honesty bracket and I expect that from my players at all times."

Fulham currently hold 14th position in the Championship table having seemingly recovered from a poor start to the season.
