Team News: Rafael van der Vaart skippers unchanged Hamburger SV

Hamburger SV and Stuttgart both name unchanged sides for this afternoon's clash in the Bundesliga between the two sides.

Hamburger SV coach Bert van Marwijk has decided to name an unchanged starting XI for this afternoon's Bundesliga clash with Stuttgart.

Van Marwijk unsurprisingly sticks with the same team that thrashed Nuremberg 5-0 before the international break, with Rafael van der Vaart playing just behind Pierre-Michel Lasogga in a lone front role.

Stuttgart, meanwhile, also stick by the side that drew 1-1 at Werder Bremen last time out to continue a five-match unbeaten run.

Vedad Ibisevic will lead the line ahead of Alexandru Maxim, with Austrian winger Martin Harnik an outlet in an advanced wide role.

Hamburg: Adler; Westermann, Tah, Djourou, Jansen; Zoua, Arslan, Badelj, Calhanoglu, Van der Vaart; Lasogga

Stuttgart: Kirschbaum; Sakai, Schwaab, Rudiger, Boka; Kvist, Gentner; Harnik, Maxim, Traore; Ibisevic
