Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has suggested that midfielder Cole Skuse has the talent to play Premier League football.
The 29-year-old has featured more than 100 times for the Tractor Boys since joining on a free contract from Bristol City in 2013.
Skuse was handed a new deal in October to keep him in place at Portman Road until 2018, and McCarthy believes that the Englishman boasts all the skills required to perform at the highest level.
"I think he's a Premier League footballer playing with us," the experienced boss told BBC Sport. "I'm really delighted we've got him tied up on another contract.
"He's got all the attributes - he's calm, composed, quick, can handle the ball, and got a good passing range."
Skuse played the full 90 minutes as Ipswich were held to a 2-2 draw by Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, leaving the Blues three points off the Championship playoff zone.
