Paul Konchesky hails Leicester City "unity"

Leicester City defender Paul Konchesky believes that "unity" has helped the Foxes to a nine-game winning streak in the Championship.

Paul Konchesky has said that "unity" has helped Leicester City to a run of nine consecutive victories in the Championship.

The club-record winning streak has helped the Foxes open up a 10-point lead at the top of the table ahead of tomorrow's game against Watford.

The defender told the team's website: "I've never been involved in anything like it, it's been a pleasure and hopefully it can continue.

"The togetherness and confidence in the squad and throughout the entire club is very high. Winning games breeds that confidence.

"We know we can play football, but when it's got to the nitty gritty we've shown we can do that as well. I think it's a good thing that everyone wants to beat you. You'd rather have that than to not be the team at the top! As the leaders, it's up to us to keep winning and to stay where we are."

Leicester have not lost since back-to-back defeats in the first week of December.
