Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing Benfica defender Andre Almeida.
The 29-year-old has been with Benfica since 2011, making more than 250 appearances for the Portuguese giants in all competitions during a trophy-laden career.
According to Record, Leicester sent scouts to Benfica's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig on Tuesday night with a view to watching Almeida in action.
The Portugal international was ultimately not involved in the European tie, but the report claims that the Foxes are considering a move for the right-back in next summer's transfer window.
Almeida, who has contributed two assists in two league appearances for Benfica this season, has won five league titles during his time with the Eagles.
Brendan Rodgers's side moved into third position in the Premier League table with a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
