Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund defender Soumaila Coulibaly during the summer transfer window.
The Foxes are supposedly targeting reinforcements for their backline ahead of the new campaign, with the future of current players in doubt.
Despite joining from Italy at the beginning of this term, centre-back Caleb Okoli is continuing to be linked with a switch back to Serie A, namely AC Milan.
There are currently backline issues for Leicester head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy to contend with, especially after a 4-0 defeat to Brentford on Friday night.
Losing their last six league matches at the King Power Stadium without finding the net, the Foxes are languishing down in 19th spot in the Premier League rankings.

Leicester make Dortmund youngster Coulibaly summer priority?
According to Africafoot, Leicester are targeting the capture of Borussia Dortmund defender Coulibaly, who is currently on loan at Brest for the 2024-25 season.
The report claims that the struggling Foxes are 'strongly interested' in the 21-year-old as they look to build a successful side for next season.
It is understood that Leicester are not the first English club to notice the talents of Coulibaly, with Crystal Palace circling around the defender last summer.
There are also said to be admirers of the youngster elsewhere on the continent, with Conference League-competing Real Betis keen on the player.
With the centre-back's contract at Signal Iduna Park expiring in 2026, Dortmund may feel that the upcoming summer window is a good time to earn a sizeable fee.

Coulibaly's career to date
Following a prestigious period in the academy of Paris Saint-Germain, Coulibaly moved to Borussia Dortmund during the summer of 2021, initially featuring for the club's Under-19s outfit.
Although the 23-year-old has played on two occasions for the first team of the German powerhouses, the vast majority of his senior appearances have arrived while on loan at Royal Antwerp in Belgium last term.
Coulibaly has failed to cement his spot in the preferred XI of Brest this season - starting just four Ligue 1 contests - however the Dortmund loanee has turned out on eight occasions in the Champions League.
