Liverpool will aim to keep the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City when they welcome former manager Brendan Rodgers and his Leicester City side to Anfield on Thursday night.
Jurgen Klopp's men enter the contest off the back of a 3-1 win over Cardiff City in the FA Cup but fell to a 1-0 defeat at the King Power Stadium earlier this season courtesy of an Ademola Lookman winner.
The hosts have finally welcomed Mohamed Salah back to the AXA training complex following the Africa Cup of Nations, and Klopp has confirmed that the Egyptian could feature in midweek.

Salah witnessed his Chelsea side ease to a 2-0 victory over Leicester back in the 2014-15 Premier League season, but he was not involved in the contest during his ill-fated Stamford Bridge stint.
However, following his arrival on Merseyside in 2017, Salah immediately laid down a marker at the King Power during the early stages of the season, heading home his side's first goal of a thrilling 3-2 success.
The Egyptian would then proceed to bag a brace to cancel out Jamie Vardy's opener in a 2-1 Anfield win later that season, as he enjoyed the perfect start to life against Leicester before the contributions dried up.
Indeed, Salah failed to score or assist in four successive league matches against Leicester in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 Premier League seasons, but the Reds still managed to take 10 points from a possible 12 anyway.

The ex-Chelsea man would also miss his side's 3-0 Anfield win over the Foxes in November 2020 after testing positive for coronavirus, but he would open the scoring at the King Power later that season.
However, Leicester proceeded to hit three in a late flurry to condemn Salah to his first defeat against them in Liverpool colours, and he was also nullified in Leicester's 1-0 win on home soil earlier this season.
In total, Salah has bagged a respectable four goals in eight matches versus Leicester - but failing to provide a single assist - and only one strike from his last six against the Foxes is somewhat surprising by his standards.
It remains to be seen if the 29-year-old will be given the green light to play by Klopp this week, but he will undoubtedly hope to help the team in some capacity as they seek to avoid a third consecutive loss in this fixture.
