Liverpool reportedly have a verbal agreement in place with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Although the Reds want to strengthen their midfield before September 1, they are not expected to sign Bellingham in the current transfer window.
However, Liverpool are currently working to sign the England international in the future, with Dortmund not prepared to sell the midfielder this summer.
According to Football Insider, the Reds have reached a verbal agreement with the 19-year-old, who has also attracted interest from Real Madrid.
Liverpool were believed to be considering a move for Bellingham next summer, but a previous report indicated that they could bring those plans forward to January.
Bellingham, who has three years left on his current contract, has started every game for Dortmund this season, including Saturday's 1-0 victory over Hertha Berlin.
