Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has insisted that he is unfazed by the criticism that he has received for his side's inconsistency this season.
The Premier League champions have only kept two clean sheets this season and they appear unlikely to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages after picking up just one point in their first three group matches.
However, City still sit third in the Premier League table and Mancini says that it doesn't take media criticism to help him realise when he has made a mistake.
Mancini said: "I don't read the newspapers. I know my job and I know when I make a mistake or do the right things.
"For this I talk with my club, my chairman and my staff, the other situations are not important."
Manchester City travel to West Ham United on Saturday evening.
