Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva is reportedly "dreaming" of a move to Real Madrid amid uncertainty surrounding Luka Modric's future.
Pep Guardiola confirmed last summer that the Portugal international wanted to leave, but he has since enjoyed a stellar season as a regular for the Premier League champions.
Silva has 10 goals and three assists to his name from 34 appearances in all competitions in the 2021-22 campaign, but his long-term future at the Etihad Stadium remains unclear.
According to Calciomercato, Silva is "dreaming" of a summer transfer to Real Madrid as Blancos lynchpin Modric enters the final knockings of his career.
However, the 36-year-old is expected to pen an extension on his Santiago Bernabeu deal which expires in 2022, and he recently confirmed his desire to keep playing until his 40th birthday.
Modric has remained a key player for Carlo Ancelotti this summer despite his advancing years, and Silva's deal with Man City is not due to expire until 2025.
