Leeds have signed midfielder Ian Poveda from Manchester City on a permanent deal.
The 19-year-old, who made one senior appearance for City – in last season's Carabao Cup win over Burton – has signed a contract until 2024.
Poveda becomes Leeds' second signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of goalkeeper Elia Caprile from Chievo.
Poveda told LUTV: "I know Leeds won the league the year before it turned into the Premier League and I believe they should be back there.
"I'm very excited to work under [Marcelo] Bielsa, I know he improves players and that's what I'm looking to do under his guidance."
Poveda could make his debut in Tuesday night's clash with Millwall as his new club bid to end a run of two consecutive Championship defeats.
